In short and honestly: AI does most of the work, and we make sure it sticks to the facts.

Where the information comes from

From local media (e.g. Diario de Avisos, El Día, Canarias7, Canarian Weekly), Google News, official services (AEMET, IGN/EMSC), the El Cabezo weather station, Open-Meteo, OpenStreetMap, Meetup - and from our own radio (SDR) and ADS-B monitoring. Every article links to its sources.

What AI does

A local AI model running on our own server picks the important reports, merges those about the same event and writes short articles in Polish. Translations into English, Spanish, German, Italian and Ukrainian are fully automatic. The evergreen pieces in Lifestyle were also written by AI from verified sources. Notices about earthquakes, wind or aircraft codes are generated automatically from data.

How we keep it accurate

The AI is instructed to write only what is in the sources - no additions, no clickbait. An automated editor reviews the portal every few hours, fixes mistakes and removes doubtful texts. Alerts from radio monitoring are double-checked by the model because automatic transcription is often wrong. We never invent interviews or quotes.

Every article has a “Report a mistake” button. Reports go to the desk; we check them against the sources and fix the text.

What we cannot guarantee

AI can make mistakes: garble a name or a number, or misread a source. Flight and ferry prices, forecasts and spot ratings are indicative. For important decisions - safety, travel, money - check the source or official channels (112 Canarias, AEMET).
