Car accident in Güímar: vehicle fell into ravine, two brothers sustained minor injuries
On Tuesday, 29 September, at 11:30, a car lost control and fell into a ravine in El Escobonal in Güímar on Tenerife. Two brothers, aged 76 and 72, were evacuated and transported to hospital with minor injuries.

The incident occurred on the road leading to Punta Prieta. The car likely suffered a brake system failure. This caused loss of traction and the vehicle overturned onto its roof during the fall.
The Guardia Civil and firefighters (Bomberos) evacuated both men from the wreckage. One brother resides in Punta Prieta. The other resides in Candelaria. Both were transported to the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital. Their condition is assessed as minor.
