Vehicle and apartment damaged in Arico by iron bar attack

A man damaged several cars, a truck, a motorcycle, and apartment windows in La Cisnera (Arico) using an iron bar.

The incident occurred in the La Cisnera neighbourhood of Arico. The perpetrator struck vehicles and building elements with the bar. The event was recorded and shared on social media. Damage included multiple passenger cars, a truck's mudguard and headlights, a motorcycle, and apartment windows.

The Arico Somos Todos political group commented on the incident. They cited insufficient resources and equipment in the Arico Local Police. Spokesperson José Hervella stated the current staff cannot provide 24-hour protection.

The group demands immediate action and increased funding for the local police. They argue current resources are inadequate to combat crime. This includes thefts and break-ins in coastal towns.
