New containers for organic waste only will be installed from October. The town hall purchased 1592 units. The system is scheduled to be implemented before the end of the year.
The project is coordinated by Carlos Tarife from PP. This will eventually allow a discount on waste fees from 2027.
What this means: Property owners in Santa Cruz de Tenerife should prepare for sorting organic waste into the new containers. A discount on waste bills will be available from 2027.
